My First day I school

Today we had 40 minutes to write a about our first day of school. From looking at our writing we are going to set some writing goals for the term.

For me  the first day of school  was exciting, because I was really determined to start. I wanted to meet new people and make new friends.My big brother started school before me so he told me what it was like,it sounded really fun. As soon as I walked into class I was shaking,my heart was beating so fast that I wanted to go home that time. But my mum stayed with me in class so I can settle in. After my mum left I went around the classroom to meet some new people,I became friends with Taamai,Raeleen,Wakatere and Anamei.

Suddenly I heard a bell ring  I didn't know what it was so I asked my new teacher Mrs Georege, she said it was time for morning tea, so I went to my bag to get some lunch out and sat with my friends. When Mrs George let us go out to play me and my friends ran to the playground. I felt even more scared when I saw big kids surrounding me.  

It was nearly time to go back to class..............as soon as the bell rang me and my friends went back to class.Then we had a different teacher, her name was Miss Riley she was our art teacher……………..
